Where the heart is always a little bigger than the mind.
Where there is sometimes crying and arguing. Where people stumble and get back up again.
Where big dreams are pursued with a lot of courage.
How else would we come up with the idea of manufacturing underwear entirely in Switzerland using sustainable materials? Or offering 60 sizes, true to the motto "beautiful in every shape"?

philosophy
Yes, we believe that all people are beautiful and perfect just the way they are—including you!
We believe in beauty beyond beauty ideals. That's one of the reasons why we offer so many sizes, because nothing makes us happier than seeing everyone wearing beautiful and comfortable underwear—regardless of their clothing size.
How it all began
Hey, I'm Zippora. In 2018, I was looking for underwear for myself... but everything I could find was either not sustainable, not comfortable, or just looked incredibly boring.
At the time, I wore a size 75B, which is the standard size... And yet my search remained unsuccessful. Although, I can't really say that now, because, as you can easily guess, I simply started sewing my own lingerie!
I already had the right training: I originally trained as a dressmaker and then, after completing my training as a pattern technician, I worked for several years in development for a major sportswear brand.
It's just incredible that sewing underwear for so many different people has now actually become my job!

I am involved thoughts of september almost every aspect of thoughts of september —from product development, cutting, production, marketing, and the website to shipping your order.
When I'm not working, I like to spend my time with the people I love, enjoying a good cup of coffee or working on my countless other creative projects.
In 2025, I discovered my second passion alongside beautiful lingerie: with my eulogies and farewell ceremonies, I try to make it easier for bereaved families to say goodbye to their loved ones.
The very best thing about thoughts of september? My team. I'm not alone—there are such wonderful people who simply dream my dream with me and make it come true step by step!

Hello, I'm Jess. I dream of a world where sustainable and fairly produced fashion without greenwashing is the norm. Fashion by people for people, regardless of size.
I look for beauty in small, everyday things and love to create things with my own hands. Although I have now taken over as lead for the website and newsletter, I am fortunately still heavily involved in the development process for our models. This includes sketching ideas, sewing prototypes, or simply being there for Zippora as a discussion partner.
Mathilda (she/her)
Hi, I'm Mathilda. I come from Paris, where I studied textile design and lingerie. But in 2023, love led me away from Paris (which is perhaps a little ironic) to Lucerne.
I love the mountains—luckily, there are lots of them here! That makes it all the more wonderful that we can see Mount Pilatus every day from the large windows of our studio.
At thoughts of september , I thoughts of september involved in the design and development of new products and sew your lingerie together with Zippora. But I'm not only creative at work here; of course, I also have countless ideas and projects on the side, and unfortunately, I usually have far too little time to actually implement them all.

Hi, I'm Angie!
I am a total fall person—in love with pumpkins, golden leaves, and the warm atmosphere of this season. I am a real "book girl" and can lose myself in stories for hours. Halloween also has a very special magic for me.
I ended up joining the team through a customer who was part of the Sisterhood. Luckily, because at thoughts of september I thoughts of september know myself better, learned to accept and love myself, and was able to work on myself. Now sewing has become a wonderful way for me to relax.

Hi, I'm Erica. Since retiring, thoughts of september has brought thoughts of september the right amount of variety to my everyday life. I take care of your orders and lend a hand wherever I'm needed.
I spend my summers traveling through Europe—preferably in good company, of course. In winter, I enjoy making masks and props for our carnival theater group.
I want a fair and prosperous world—for us all to stick together a little more and work together for a future with a future.

For me, Thoughts of september a utopia that has become reality.
A lingerie brand without compromise: fairness, sustainability, and size inclusivity seem impossible in our world. At thoose , we thoose them a reality. I dream that this will become more and more normal in fashion (and everywhere else, for that matter).
Oh yes, and I like climbing—I'm not particularly good at it, but I enjoy it. Even if routes seem impossible, I try them anyway, laugh off my failures, and keep going.

Hey, I'm Aaron! I thoughts of september upon thoughts of september quite unexpectedly, as I'm actually at home in IT and prefer to think in ones and zeros. Nevertheless, it was love at first sight. I take care of the finances, website, and so much behind the scenes.
I thoughts of september to thoughts of september the desire to leave behind a healthy and livable world for future generations, and the opportunity to build a sustainable business without compromise. I want to prove that there is another way—that sustainable production is possible in Switzerland without greenwashing and with genuine concern for our employees, our society, and our planet.
When I find time between two jobs and my studies, I love climbing mountains or paragliding down them. Seeing the world from above gives me an incomparable physical and mental distance from everyday stress.
We are thoughts of september
Together, we have already been through a lot: we have climbed mountains, both literally and figuratively. We stuck together during the coronavirus pandemic and narrowly avoided bankruptcy more than once.
We are family. Friends, a diverse team of people with the same dreams: a just world—for us and for all those who come after us. A passionate team with a great love: people.
Yes, we want to reach people like you, inspire you, and perhaps even encourage you to love yourself, because you are great just the way you are.
